A vlogger recently edited Rico Blanco’s Yugto as the opening theme of the hit Pinoy anime Trese on Netflix, and unsurprisingly, the results earned a thumbs up from netizens.

Tito Ken TV recently uploaded the edited version of the anime’s opening on his vlog which gave the series a new edge.

“Hindi lang ako mapakali sa opening theme dahil naiimagine ko yung kantang Yugto ni Rico Blanco. Sinubukan kong i-edit. Mangiyak-ngiyak ako nung nung una kong mapanood ang resulta. Sana magustohan ninyo,” he said on the video description. He also gave proper credit to the owners of the music on his post.

His post has been viewed by over 35,000 users on YouTube who agreed that if Trese returns for a second season, Rico Blanco’s song would be perfect for the opening theme.

It can be recalled that another netizen, Kuina Hikari posted on Facebook an edited clip using the spliced voice of Glaiza de Castro instead of Liza Soberano in the role of Alexandra Trese. This came amid criticism of the Kapamilya actress’ monotony in heir voice dub of the titular character.
