Much to fans’ dismay, Adele announced that her much anticipated Las Vegas shows will be postponed after her team was plagued by delivery problems and COVID-19.
On Instagram, the singer tearfully addressed fans and explained that they did their absolute best to get the show ready on time but they were destroyed by the circumstances.
“We’ve tried absolutely everything that we can to put it together in time. And for it to be good enough for you. But we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID. Half my crew, half my team are down with COVID. They still are. And it’s been impossible to finish the show,” Adele said as she explained the situation to the fans.
Adele’s first show at the Caesar’s Palace was supposed to kick off on January 21. However, with the current spike of COVID-19 cases in the US and other parts of the world, putting the show together has become even more of a challenge for the “30” singer.
“I’m going to finish my show and I’m going to get it to where it’s supposed to be,” she promised.
Fans who posted comments on her video were only too understanding, sharing words of encouragement and prayers for Adele and her team.
