All in all, it was a powerful story but one that would have made a better impact had Disney not dilly dallied on greenlighting the movie and released it before the final two Avengers films. Natasha deserved better. And this movie simply twisted the knife deeper into our hearts.
All in all, Dune Part 1 felt more like a massive flex from director Villeneuve, showcasing his confidence that Part 2 will be greenlit by Warner Bros, just like he wanted. With an ending like that, who would sit still without seeing how it ends? It also seemed like the movie was intended to correct everything that director David Lynch did wrong in the controversial 1984 classic.
All in all, Midsomar was weird but it also made sense (in a way). The signs were all there and the ending seemed plenty justified. Basically everyone got what they deserved, and a small part of me was happy for Dani, even though the means that she arrived was anything but normal.
The second half of Tokyo Revengers Season 1 was all about loyalty and friendship. Baji to the Founding Members, Chifuyu to Baji, and on the flipside was pure treachery, and at its center was Kisaki. While episodes 1-13 was filled with multiple deaths, the continuation left no doubt that the Tokyo Manji gang is still faced with even more tragedy in its past and in its future. I have half a mind to read the manga now to answer all of my questions but I fear that it will destroy the suspense that I’ve built up for the anime.
rom being an exciting and compelling binge, this series was also a well crafted social commentary about humans and the extent of their imperfections. It urged viewers to examine society from a different lens. Were the games a kindness or cruelty for its participants? Did it save them from their misery or were their deaths a welcome respite from their drudgery?
At the end of the midseason finale, fans would definitely need a moment to debrief and process everything that has happened. In as much as fans mourned the loss of Nairobi last season, this season proved that its going out with a bang and it doesn’t care about your feelings — or your biases, and its all for the stake of this story. This early, we already know that there will be no winners in this heist, even if they get the gold out. one thing’s for sure. What a glorious ending it will be.
So, here’s the deal. It took me the arrival of the fifth season before I resumed watching Money […]
It’s been a while since I’ve reviewed any book or e-book but this web novel is a really great companion read to the webtoon that I am currently addicted to. It makes the story of Under the Oak Tree all the more richer when its told from a different perspective. Perhaps, this was what Stephenie Meyer was gunning for with Midnight Sun?
All in all, I loved the story of Under the Oak Tree, the art and the characters. I’m actually reading the novel on Riftan’s POV, which I discovered from the threads. I’m going to read the novel on Maxi’s perspective after I’m done. This is how good this series is. I just can’t get enough of this couple.
I was blown away by Demon Slayer: Mugen Train because of the beautiful and consistent animation all throughout. There was no bad panel, not even one. The use 3D in combination with 2D animation was seamlessly crafted. The fight scenes never missed a beat. The use of perfect background music to accompany each scene made me ugly cry 25 percent of the movie and kept me suspended in suspense the remainder of the time.
