All in all, The Whole Truth was a borefest that took pride in ripping off classic horror classics and made no apologies for being a copycat. It wasn’t even flattering to the original material. In all fairness, filmmakers tried to do their best. Unfortunately, the film already sank before it could start floating because everything about it was so subpar it was ridiculous.

All in all, Looks that Kill was a heartwarming and touching movie. It had a beautiful, but realistic message. It made viewers fall in love, laugh, cry and wonder. And it kept them interested until the very end. Thanks to a reliable cast and writer/director Kellen Moore, this just became one of my instant favorites.

The new film tried to build more layers to the tale, but the story got away from them. Black Christmas 2019 was a mess from start to finish. Moral Lessons: Don’t fix what ain’t broken. Just because you could doesn’t mean you should. Don’t try to flip a classic just to prove you are better. Because in this case, the remake, developed over 30 years later than the original, was far inferior to the 1974 classic IN ALL ASPECTS.

Personally, apart from my dismay that the entire first season was set up as a bait for a second season of Hellbound, I was still a big fan. Hellbound was not just a conversation about religion and morality but it also talked of corruption and desperation. It expounded on the concept of free will and how humankind regards it in their daily lives. It left the conversation wide open on the gray areas between good and evil. It prompted a lot of reflection, and its a huge thing for a supernatural series to hit its mark so deeply that its message resonates and applies to the real lives of the audience.

All in all, Dune Part 1 felt more like a massive flex from director Villeneuve, showcasing his confidence that Part 2 will be greenlit by Warner Bros, just like he wanted. With an ending like that, who would sit still without seeing how it ends? It also seemed like the movie was intended to correct everything that director David Lynch did wrong in the controversial 1984 classic.
