I’ve been looking forward to the big screen debut of Mulan ever since it was announced by Disney. […]
I get that a lot of people are angry at Liu Yifei for her statement against HK protesters. However, I will still support the movie because it has nothing to do with the actress’ political opinion. There were hundreds of people who worked on this film, and I think they deserve support for their efforts. This may just be me, but count me in when the film opens in theaters on March 2020. I have a good feeling about this film. I think its going to be epic, controversy or no.
All in all, I think High School Musical: The Series has a huge potential to be a hit. Its going through the revival of the franchise in the right way. It has a level of self awareness that keeps it from going overboard, and its not setting its sights on surpassing the success of the original. Its merely borrowing some luster from its success to jumpstart the continuation of the franchise in a new platform.
All in all, The Lion King Live Action was a pretty strong movie in its own right barring comparison from the animated original. It deserves credit for that. However, the real magic of the of the film lies with sharing this experience with your young ones and bonding over your common love for this classic story’s enduring message of love, family, friendship and destiny
All in all, Mary Poppins Returns was the perfect sequel to the classic masterpiece as it managed to deliver the same magic that the original version created. There may be a different cast of actors, but everyone set out to deliver an effective performance to live up to the classic. It was very Disney from start to finish — the music, the visuals and the universal message of hope, family and love all came together for a thrilling and memorable experience that one won’t soon forget.
If Disney and Hallmark had a baby, then The Princess Switch would probably be it. It stars High […]

All in all, I was well and truly impressed by how Coco managed to celebrate Mexican culture and tradition with the wonderful details of the animation. The film really came to life in a unique and different way. The OST was also one of the best that Disney Pixel had to offer and really stepped up the emotional level of the movie. In my opinion, the purity of the voice acting also played a major factor in the film’s success. The film also had a very moving message — that while families won’t always understand one another, love will overcome every obstacle. Congratulations to director John Lasseter for pulling another memorable film.
All in all, “Star Wars: Rogue One” was an ultimate underdog movie. It set about to tell the story of the unsung heroes of the alliance and it did so without sugarcoating or mercy. And that was why it was so important to the franchise. With the original trilogy, and even the extended franchise, a happy ending was expected but what does it really take to get to that happy end? Rogue One holds the answer. And this very same thing was what set it apart from any part of the franchise.
Although at times, it was weird and over the top to see the film executed as a live action because it felt like watching a stage play rather than a movie, director Bill Condon’s film was equal parts visually stunning, engaging and eerily nostalgic because of its attention to the details of the original film…. I still thought the original was better but the live action was a good effort by Disney and it delivered on the hype which is much more than I can say for other attempts to reboot classic franchises.
