As I’ve said, Stranger Things 2 had a different appeal from the first mainly because the first season established how Eleven became part of the party that destroyed the threat looming over Hawkins. This time around, the series took time to establish relationships of its other characters.… Read More Stranger Things 2: Series Review
There were a lot of cool things about this movie. The fight scenes were something to behold. The script (by superteam Akiva Goldsman, Jeff Pinkner, Anders Thomas Jensen and Nikolaj Arcel) was equally good. The gunbattles were neat but I’m an even bigger fan of the reloads. Its weird, I know but you have to see the movie to understand what I’m talking about. The CGI was also masterfully used. It wasn’t overdone just because the studio had the budget to do it, and this was very good news for the overall outcome of the movie. … Read More The Dark Tower: Film Review
All in all, “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” was able to deliver a serious message about taking responsibility for one’s strengths (literally and figuratively) in a light and fun atmosphere by using sometimes over the top comedy that pokes fun at the common tropes in rom-com. It maintained audiences’ interest with a multi-faceted story that engaged and entertained from the first minute up to the last. For now, I will content myself while watching this series over and over and over and over again. … Read More Strong Woman Do Bong Soon: Korean Drama Review

I’ve followed several series over the years but only a few have managed to make it to this… Read More Stranger Things: Series Review

Okay, I’ve been watching Game of Thrones since its first season and I must say, that on all accounts, I should be used to the amount of betrayals and deaths that this show has churned out in the battles to seize the Iron Throne. I get it. I am hooked to show in spite of it… Read More Please stop killing direwolves!
Goosebumps is the big screen adaptation of R.L. Stine’s children’s book series of the same name. Instead of picking out a particular title, Sony Pictures Entertainment, backing the movie with $58 million budget chose to go all out and created a single story concept that encompassed all of the characters in all of the books.… Read More Goosebumps: Movie Review
