All in all, I loved the story of Under the Oak Tree, the art and the characters. I’m actually reading the novel on Riftan’s POV, which I discovered from the threads. I’m going to read the novel on Maxi’s perspective after I’m done. This is how good this series is. I just can’t get enough of this couple.

Without giving the ending away, The Craft: Legacy was pretty tame. It wasn’t memorable. It was a far cry from the original although as a standalone, it was not a bad movie. It was a passable follow up to the original — the type where it doesn’t matter if it is added to the franchise or forgotten completely. It’s fatal flaw? The movie played it too safe.

I had such high hopes for Sweet Home … such high hopes. I was writing about this series long before it premiered on Netflix but now that its over, I feel somewhat shortchanged. It may be an unpopular opinion but I was wishing that Sweet Home could have been more than a 10-episode setup for the second season.

All in all, I loved that Go Back couple’s fantasy premise provided an excellent background to tell a very realistic story based on equally realistic issues being experienced by husbands and wives. It carries very important lessons and a lot of hope for even the most complicated relatrionship. At the heart of every relationship,  be romantic, family, or friendship, at its core is always love, understanding and forgiveness.
