All in all, The Lion King Live Action was a pretty strong movie in its own right barring comparison from the animated original. It deserves credit for that. However, the real magic of the of the film lies with sharing this experience with your young ones and bonding over your common love for this classic story’s enduring message of love, family, friendship and destiny

All in all, of the episodes that I have watched, “The Comedian” was the weakest and I think it was a bad idea to lead the series with this episode. It was sub par for “The Twilight Zone” standards but don’t lose hope after this one because the other episodes do deliver on expectations. “The Twilight Zone” is well worth following.

All in all,  the new Flatliners had better style than the original but substance wise, the original was still better overall because of the depth of the characters. Even though the characters of the original were flawed, audiences root for them. The original Flatliners had an all star cast but did not have any problems with giving the lead characters more emphasis. The new Flatliners’ characters seemed too detached and the team behind the movie seemed too timid to give the floor to any particular character. Its lack of conviction resulted in the lukewarm execution that made the movie plain and simple — ordinary.

All in all, Ang Panday wasn’t horrible but gahd, the endless parade of unnecessary scenes to accommodate the number of actors in this movie was ridiculous. By its end, I was confused as to what its real purpose was — to entertain moviegoers or to annoy the hell out of non-die hard fans of Ang Probinsyano like myself. Its definitely leaps and bounds better than the Bong Revilla version though.
