All in all, The Lion King Live Action was a pretty strong movie in its own right barring comparison from the animated original. It deserves credit for that. However, the real magic of the of the film lies with sharing this experience with your young ones and bonding over your common love for this classic story’s enduring message of love, family, friendship and destiny

All in all, Aurora was more hype than substance. While it was not entirely bad, I was not blown away by this horror movie. Huge credit though to the cinematography and editing but the pacing was too snail paced to get me excited at any point of the film. So, if you don’t fall asleep from the lengthy dialogue and the depressing cloud that Leana carries around with her everywhere she goes, congrats to you. Patience is a virtue for this flick but I wasn’t sure that the payoff was equal to the set up. In the end, I don’t know if it was a more effective social commentary than a horror.
I must admit that I was expecting something different from the trailer but at the end of the day, I felt that it was a good (if not great) first outing for the Justice League. There were conflicts among the characters with strong personalities clashing, as much as there were hits and misses throughout the film. But for a movie that endured as much as it did within the production and development schedule, to come up with a solid addition to the franchise was enough of an achievement.
