All in all, Our Beloved Summer is a beautiful tale about knowing your worth, recognizing love and dealing with pain, and just knowing that its never to wrong to reach out and ask for help when you need it. It speaks to every one of us, and that is a testament to some excellent writing by Lee Na Eun and directing from Kim Yoon Jin.
After reading PD Chul Min and PD Bo Pil’s letters to Kwangsoo, it makes me want to believe that Kwangsoo will run again, perhaps as a guest in the future. I hope he makes use of the all access pass to visit the set whenever, and wherever he goes, I hope our Prince of Asia succeeds. He deserves it. Farewell to our dear Giraffe, run free and do what you want without penalties. Thank you for all the years or laughter.
All in all, I would definitely recommend Switch because of the great story, solid casting and great chemistry. A major plus is the catchy soundtrack by Teen Top and FT Island’s Lee Hong Ki. Switch is an interesting 16 episode series (split into 32) that sustains its momentum from start to end, something that not all dramas are able to pull off. I hope Geun Suk and Ye Ri get to work together again after his enlistment because these two are absolute acting gems.
From nightmare to living the fantasy, While You Were Sleeping came full circle. It was a great binge watch that I would definitely re-watch one of these days like many of my favorites.
