All in all, Deleter had some great moments but it was not enough to offset the frustration of a subpar story that relied on hype and not substance. The one good thing that came out of it though is that it seems that Nadine has finally found her niche. Horror suits her well, in particular, psychological thrillers. Her acting plum for her performance was well deserved, I should say.

All in all, Greed was a good movie. It had a strong cast, good chemistry, excellent cinematography (you could really feel the heat and humidity from across the screen). Kudos to writer director Yam Laranas, who incorporated his signature style of filmmaking to deliver another one of his masterpieces . Enough good girl roles for Nadine, please. I believe these types of materials are where the next chapter of career should be.

I would have to say that Ulan will not be a film for everybody.  Its success or failure is relative to the audience’s taste. One thing is for sure, though. Its an unforgettable film that challenges convention and its one brave movie for going against the norm.

For now, I would have to say that the “Ulan” trailer succeeded in generating interest in its intriguing concept. It piques curiosity while keeping its audiences excited about the mysterious premise of the film. Whether the build up to the mystery would pay off for the film of not, audiences will find out on March 13 when the film releases on Philippine theaters. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it does.

All in all, Never Not Love You is spot on. It took a risk in veering away from the typical formula of previous Jadine movies but it was a risk that paid off. From the great script, to the musical score that emphasized every phase of the relationship, to the cinematography that made viewers appreciate the beauty of London and Makati at night, to the effective portrayal of James and Nadine which made up 80 percent of the movie. It all came together as one of Jadine and Jadaone’s best collaborations yet.
