Score another victory for 2021 Netflix hit “Squid Game” after veteran actor O Yeong Su took home the prize for Best Supporting Actor at the 79th annual Golden Globes.
O Yeong Su was the actor who played the elderly player No. 001 who befriended the character of Lee Jung Jae in the series. After winning the hearts of the audience for his portrayal, the actor pulled the rug from under them when it was revealed what Player 001’s role in the Squid Game actually was.
Netflix has greenlighted a second season of “Squid Game” after fans petitioned for closure after its cliffhanger ending.
